Planning

KHA offer a wide range of services regarding the planning stage. 

 

We submit and monitor any form of planning permission that may be required - providing full support throughout the application period and after.

  • Approval of conditions after planning permission has been granted

With regards to the CDM Regulations 2015, the Contractor deals with Health and Safety on domestic contracts. 

The Contractor will deal with the following:

  • appoint a Principal Designer to arrange for competent and adequately resourced and trained staff and sub-contractors

  • ensure the co-ordination and co-operation of all contractors

  • ensure that all contractors have information about all risks on-site and obtain risk assessments where necessary

  • monitor health and safety performance

  • make sure that only authorised personnel are on site

  • ensure that protective clothing is available where required, including for visitors to the site

  • comply with the C.O.S.S.H. regulations at all times.

​KHA Architectural Design can aid with all aspects of the design and planning stage from concept ideas, to 3D visualizations and client-driven projects small to large, exterior to interior.

Please note; 

Planning permission is required for the majority of building works. The planning process takes a minimum of 8 weeks. Different planning applications are required for different works. Graded buildings and buildings within a conservation area, will require additional works and documentation.
